The Admiral’s Tale, Part 1
A prequel to Pirate Ophelia
Introduction
I recently published a prequel to Pirate Ophelia, titled Pirate Ophelia: The Admiral’s Tale. This short book tells the backstory of the character Janneke, starting from her first journey on a ship up to the beginning of the first book.
I started writing this prequel, along with one for another main character, when I was struggling with the direction for the sequel. I hope to finish the other prequel over the next few months and the sequel within a year.
I have decided to publish this new story on Medium for paid members now that I have enough followers to be in the Medium Partner Program. Though I enjoy writing just to tell stories and share my experiences, and Pirate Ophelia continues at the urging of its handful of fans, it is time-consuming and I hope to make some money from my publications.
